About

PLATINUM VIBES REQUEST LIVE is the interactive request platform for WPVR New York City, a streaming radio experience built for listeners who want a real voice in what gets played. Through this app, fans can submit song requests directly to the live broadcast in just a few taps.

Designed with an eclectic music-loving audience of classic and current J-Pop, P-Pop, K-Pop, Asian Hop-Hop, R&B and EDM in mind, the interface is intentionally simple and uncluttered. Listeners enter their name or handle, the artist, and the song title they'd like to hear, and their request joins the live queue. Each show session has a configurable request cap, so no single song can dominate the airwaves, keeping the rotation fair and varied for everyone tuning in. A built-in live player lets listeners stream the broadcast right from the same page, and a lightweight chat panel lets them talk with the host, nudge for their request, or get clarification on a submission.

On the host side, PLATINUM VIBES REQUEST LIVE gives the show's operator a password-protected dashboard to open and close request windows, monitor a ranked queue of the most-requested tracks, mark songs as played, and export a full record of each session's activity as a CSV file for later review. It's built to make running a live request show smoother for the host and more engaging for the audience.

PLATINUM VIBES REQUEST LIVE is built and maintained by the WPVR NYC team, dedicated to bringing a modern, listener-driven radio experience to New York City and beyond.
